This long-sleeved top is one of our favorites from Cody, styled after and old Wild West Show playbill on a relaxed fit tee, with a fun little accent of contrast printed cuffs with a little horseshoe pattern you may or may not recognize (hint, hint: Maudie’s dress and top from a couple years back). The imagery on this print is reminiscent of the antique carved wooden statues that stood outside cigar shops, dating back as far as the 17th century, to indicate that tobacco was sold inside.Our first iteration of the image was early on in Double D Ranch history, appearing in the fall 1992 collection, and when it came time to reimagine significant pieces for our 30th anniversary, the Tobacco Salesman was on that list. It is a more visually dimensional print for our Cody collection. We imagined the print into this relaxed fit, almost tunic-style blouse with a short standup collar and conch button placket. It’s a flattering, easy-to-wear silhouette that’s a perfect match for a classic pair of jeans or even leggings and boots.
